itslearning features

itslearning consists of a number of different features which are especially tailored for the education sector. This page describes the most important functionality. Click the links below for more information, video tutorials and resources.

Working Portfolio

Portfolios are used to show and assess a learner’s progress. Teachers can make suggestions for improvement, and learners reflect on their achievements.

When a teacher sets up a course, they can decide to automatically set up a working portfolio and assessment portfolio for all course participants. The working portfolio contains a list of project tasks and a log and the learner’s learning objectives. The learner uses the portfolio to store ongoing project work – and when the project is finished, the best work is transferred to the learner’s assessment portfolio.

Help students improve their portfolios

Teachers can add tasks to the learner’s portfolio. This enables the teacher to make corrections or improvement suggestions to individual pieces of work – and the learner can then make improvements. Teachers and learners can also add other elements, such as notes, files and links, and import content from the library.
