We would like to welcome the following partners to our 2012 user forum

I am learning

I am Learning is a games based homework and revision system which motivates learners in homework, independent study, revision, assessments and exam practice. I am learning identifies weaknesses, monitors progress and improves learning outcomes.

Michael Wilkinson, Managing Director at I am Learning will be presenting at the forum discussing Raising Attainment Through Games-Based Learning.

It was Plato who said "Do not, my friend, keep children to their studies by compulsion, but by play." Game based education has always had the potential to motivate and engage a new generation of learners. Aligning the fun of gaming with testing and assessment offers students the opportunity to learn in an environment they are not only comfortable with but would seek out given the choice. This workshop will show how I am learning has been used together with the itslearning platform as a whole school, key improvement strategy.
