itslearning features

itslearning consists of a number of different features which are especially tailored for the education sector. This page describes the most important functionality. Click the links below for more information, video tutorials and resources.

Surveys & Polls

Do you want to quickly get people’s opinions on a recent event or conduct a full course evaluation? With itslearning you can do both.

Surveys can be used in courses and in projects to find out people’s opinions on a wide range of topics. If desired, you can also extend the survey to include people who don’t have an itslearning account. When you create the survey, you get an external link that you can send to the people you want to take part in the survey. You can also export a survey in other formats, such as Excel or SPSS.

Statistics help you judge results. You can see the results of your survey as soon as respondents start submitting their answers. You can view each respondent’s answers in detail or get an overview of survey results. And because itslearning automatically generates statistics on surveys, including answer-by-answer percentages and overall results, you can analyse the results to draw conclusions.

The four survey question types

itslearning allows you to add four question types, and all four types can be used in the same survey if required:

  • Yes/no questions
  • Multiple choice questions
  • Open questions
  • Matrix questions

Quick gauge of public opinion

A single multiple choice question, a poll is a simple way to quickly gauge opinion on a particular topic or issue. You can place a poll as a content block on your landing page or course page – and you see the results as percentages.
