itslearning's progress reports make it simple for teachers to get a quick overview of a student's progress in a course – so they can spot students who are lagging behind, or students who are ready for new challenges, at an early stage.
The reporting tool shows each students' progress in a course by measuring their performance against a number of set criteria. The teacher simply decides what course elements the students are supposed to complete – such as assignments and tests – and enters this into the progress reporting tool.
Each course element is represented by a bar – and colour codes make it easy to see how far each student has got with each one. A green bar means the element is complete; red means that it's overdue; yellow indicates that the deadline is approaching; and grey means the element has not yet started.
How do you know if a student has completed the course? The black bar indicates the number of activities the student has to complete in order to finish the course. In the example shown here, there are 21 activities, but a student only needs to complete 15 of them to complete the course. As you can see, Caroline is already done, but Ludmila still has a way to go.
