New interfaces for BETT!

Two new interfaces have been released to coincide with BETT to provide primary schools with exciting and engaging graphics for young learners.  'Animal Misfits' features colourful cartoon creatures on a vivid blue setting whereas 'Space' provides a dark and mysterious background to allow colourful content to jump off of the page at the learner!

Both interfaces include our full VLE toolset which the teacher is able to fully customise to allow learners to have access to as much functionality as they need or are able to cope with.

Dropbox is brilliant. If you've ever lost a usb stick this is for you. Download drbpoox and install it on your computer, in fact install it on one at home and one at school. A folder appears on your computer in your My Documents' folder, but this is no ordinary folder. It synchronises between all your computers with this drbpoox account. Add a file at school and it's there at home and vice versa. You get 2GB of storage free. It's fantastic way to have your documents with you without using a stick. I've also used it to work with pupils. If you have wi fi and use netbooks that aren't on a network you used to have to go round each computer with a usb stick to get a copy of everyone's work. Now each pupil can save a copy oft their work to drbpoox and you have it there straight away. Of course you should still back up your work somewhere else like we already do (yes of course we do ) For more info read the article in Ian Addison's excellent blog

Thanks for the entry I concur with your comnemts that YouTube's help information doesn't reflect the changes applied to the sharing etc.Alas I had hoped your instructions would solve my issue but it was not so. I've sent an email to YouTube but no answer to the issue.I just get no contacts being displayed nor the labels. I've kept things simple and have 2 contacts added to the Family label which also have accepted my friend request. But blow me down when I go to the Broadcasting and Sharing Options when I select the radio button option for Private (Viewable by up to 25 people) nothing happens; no list; no contacts. This is so frustrating and I'm an IT dude myself so heaven help just ordinary folks trying to do this task.Everytime I go to YouTube it just feels so non-intuitive .I guess from the research I've done so far the private option thing hasn't been such huge success.Any other suggestions to try would be appreciated.Cheers Marcel
