itslearning is one of the world’s leading providers of educational technology, and a global market leader in developing, deploying, supporting and hosting learning platforms/Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and educational software.

We are looking for a new office based member of our new business and account team to support our nationally based e-learning team.  The aim of this role is to generate sales/ensure renewals through the account management of existing customers and to support various marketing campaigns/initiatives as necessary.  

Main Tasks

  • Booking sales appointments for the external sales team
  • Work with the external sales team to follow up sales campaign and marketing initiatives for new and existing customers
  • Responding to inbound sales leads and contact requests
  • Keeping the itslearning CRM system (Salesforce.com) up to date.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships with specified existing customers through regular communications
  • Liase with internal departments to ensure clients' expectations are being managed, requirements being met and delivered
  • Undertake client surveys to facilitate improved service and product levels
  • Ensure all existing customers are kept informed of latest developments at itslearning
  • Proactively promote itslearnings products and services to our customers
  • Generate revenue from new and existing customers.
  • Occaisonally support and attend exhibitions and conferences at the request of the Commercial Director
  • Key Skills

  • Competent IT skills (i.e Microsoft Office suite)
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of the internet, networking and application service provision
  • The current situation relating to ICT and education
  • Use of Salesforce.com CRM or similar
  • Minimum 2 years' customer management experience
  • Experience in cold calling and working effectively with field sales personnel
  • Experience of working within the Education ICT sector
  • Experience of online/web environments
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and implement tasks effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good skills in self organisation
  • Ability to self organise and work with limited supervision
  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
  • All candidates will need to be CRB checked
  • Location

    This position is full time and based in modern comfortable offices in an attractive recently opened art deco office complex near to Gatwick Airport, with the possibility of future home working.

    Salary

    Competitive package plus quarterly bonus payable
