The Information Management and Learning Services (IMLS) Framework has been developed by the Government Procurement Service in partnership with the DfE to provide public sector customers with the opportunity to efficiently procure School Management Information Systems and Learning Platforms.
The IMLS Framework was developed following extensive research with educational suppliers and stakeholders and has been designed to facilitate faster, more cost-effective and efficient purchasing decisions following the 2010 Becta report “Schools MIS and Value for Money 2010”. The framework provides schools, Local Authorities and groups that are launching academies, free schools or university technical colleges, with an easy route to procure from approved, high-quality, trusted suppliers in a fully EU compliant manner.
