Instructions to address the problem

Some users utilising Internet Explorer as their browser may receive a blank page or “Page cannot be found” error when browsing to their Googlemail integration via the INBOX. Should this occur, itslearning recommend deleting the “Temporary Internet files” and “Cookies” while ensuring the tick for the option “Preserve Favourite Website Data” is removed. In order to complete this task simply follow the steps below:

  • Open up Internet Explorer
  • Click on the menu option "Tools" and then "Internet Options"
  • Under the "General" Tab, select the "Delete" button under "Browsing History"
  • Ensure that you check boxes for removing "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies" BUT remove the check box option "Preserve Favourite Website Data"
  • Click on the Delete button and then "OK"
  • Close the browser and then log back into itslearning
  • Navigate to "Inbox", select "Google Mail" and you should see your mail correctly displayed
  • In the unlikely event you still have any difficulty launching your Google mail, then please contact Support Services on our freephone number 0800 977 5714 or via email to support@itslearning.com

Clearing Google cookies to enable Gmail to work correctly

This is an important notice for users of our integrated Gmail service who may not be seeing their mail correctly displayed on screen after clicking the Inbox/Gmail link.  Please note Microsoft live@edu users are not affected by this.
