Specially tailored exercises, line-by-line feedback, positive responses and guidance – these services are designed to help make the Norwegian programme Kikora revolutionise pupils’ relationship with mathematics across the world. The first to benefit from the programme are itslearning users in Norway.

All calculations can be carried out in the programme, and pupils are given direct feedback on each line of calculations. Pupils may choose their preferred calculation method, and the programme understands units such as kilograms and watts as well as concepts such as angles, lines, probability etc. The programme also provides hints and answers.

You can now improve your texts in itslearning with mathematical formulas from Wiris Editor. You can easily enter any mathematical formula into an exercise, test, message or similar.

Implementing Insite in itslearning is very easy. Insite is a web-based plugin that can be opened from it’s learning’s text editor. Type the text directly into the Insite editor before easily transferring the entire text with symbols directly into itslearning with a single click.

Insite is linked to Widgit’s extensive symbol database. As none of the symbols is stored on dedicated servers you save both space and bandwidth.

You can now access Atekst, the same editorial archive used by the country’s leading media, directly from the text editor in itslearning. Atekst provides facts, comment and reflection on current affairs. Choose from more than 10 million articles dating from 1945 until the present day.

Atekst allows you to search and export articles back to itslearning’s text editor. Teachers can search for and access a selection of relevant articles and add them to a task in it’s learning with a single click. The Atekst search box can also be added to tasks, noticeboards, messages etc. – again using only a single click.
