Welcome to the home town of it's learning. On 12-13 April this year, we will be hosting a conference in Bergen, Norway, for it's learning users from all over Europe. In addition to joining plenary and parallel sessions in English, our guests from abroad will have the opportunity to visit Norwegian schools and see how they are using our learning platform.

- School visits for international participants
- Akademiet: the largest network of privately run high schools in Norway. The Managing Director and Principal will receive the group and focus on their best practice of it’s learning, including their thinking while implementing the learning platform at the seven schools.

What's Facebook got to do with it? Digital literacy and the classroom.
The talk is about the changes in the ways we organize knowledge in a digital age, and the implications digital media has for reading, writing, teaching and learning.
(Arne Olav Nygard, doctoral student at the University of Stavanger, with a thesis on digital text culture. Has worked as a teacher for 12+ years, and has also worked as a developer of digital learning resources. )

Gideon Sanders will share how he has provided inner-city youth with a voice during troubling times. Mr. Sanders will then facilitate discussion about how to open up the students voices and empower them to speak against what is unjust, celebrate ideas of their peers through support, and challenge each other critical discussions all in a safe, collaborative, global environment.

The teaching in universities is changing. How does it’s learning fit into this? By/ Anita Monty, University of Copenhagen
Monty talks about the development of e-learningcourses at Copenhagen University and what impact it has to evolve the teaching at universities in new ways. The internet should be used more in the learning process! It is the combination of discussions and tests (it’s learning) that makes it possible to teach outside the classroom. Lecturers is not the only and best way to learn, and it’s learning, among others, can contribute to make e-learning in Universities more entartaining and give better effect than lectures. Anita Monty is an e-learning consultant at ITLearning Center, Copenhagen University.

Keynote Address:
"It’s to love learning; It’s to live learning; It’s Learning”
Gideon Sanders will deliver the Keynote Address to attendees on the successes he has celebrated and the difficulties he has had to navigate in establishing an on-line learning platform at the inner-city High School. He will share experiences, correct misconceptions and confirm doubts about the barriers, but also display how it’s learning has made this opportunity accessible, easy and enjoyable for the students. They have transformed from receivers of information to conduits of change and tell about the role it’s learning has played in that evolution.
